How we choose topics

We cover topics readers actually ask about: starting conversations, making friends, hobbies, and everyday life. We prioritise usefulness over keyword volume.

How we research and write

We research each topic, explain ideas in plain language, give practical examples, and link to relevant internal guides. We do not copy other sites’ content.

Accuracy and corrections

We review articles before publication. If you spot an error, tell us via the Contact page and we will correct it and note significant corrections.

AI assistance

We may use AI tools to help draft and organise articles. Every article is reviewed and edited by a human before publication. We do not present AI-generated text as personal experience, test results, or expert credentials we do not have.

Reviews, recommendations, and sponsorships

We do not publish fake reviews or testimonials. We currently do not accept sponsored posts. If that changes, sponsored content will be clearly labelled.

Advertising may appear on the site, including through Google AdSense. Ads are separate from editorial content and do not influence what we recommend.
